Cheesy garlic bread is so delicious, and it’s so quick to make that there’s no excuse for not serving it with every Italian dish. My favorite is this Asiago Garlic Bread recipe that is loaded up with garlic. It’s topped with a generous amount of fresh asiago, which is a cow’s milk cheese similar to, but sweeter and more pungent than, parmesan.
Simply melt the butter, mix it with garlic, and spread onto bread (I used my Homemade Sandwich Bread, which is dense enough to substitute for the typical French or Italian loaf). Place under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes and, just like that, you have a decadent side for your dinner.
